prospered under the visionary

leadership of the same family

for nearly 50 years. In 1965,

Willie Kaster purchased the

company, skillfully guiding it

through several economic cycles

of recession and recovery.


Willie’s son, Ken, served under

the tutelage of his father for

15 years and assumed leadership

of the company in 1978. Ken is

actively involved in the day-to-day

operations of Willamette Pattern

today, serving as company

president.

Such phenomenal longevity doesn’t just happen—

     Way back in 1906 when our company was founded by James M. Tate and Lovell M. Rouse,
